In the exercise of its competencies, AMAN Center is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of the information it obtains. Article (7) of Decision No. (8) of 2015 on the Articles of Association of the Protection and Social Rehabilitation Center (AMAN) stipulates that:

1- The information we collect

We collect information through the attachments available in our online applications and online services in order to understand the situation you have experienced and thus provide better services to all users.

2- Files that may be requested

The user can send the following attachments if needed as explained above to help us understand the situation, such as 

• An audio recording describing the situation you were exposed to
• A photo that clearly illustrates the nature of the situation
• A message that briefly explains the situation you were exposed to
•  A mobile phone number so that we can later contact the person concerned with the reported case and notify them of how to follow up with the staff members.
• User location (optional), in case the user submitting the report wishes to send their location to help them with the situation.

Note: All data and files received through our e-services are treated as private files and are only reviewed by members of the Committee concerned with following up on cases to consider how to provide assistance and service.

3- How we use information

The information we collect from all of our services is only used to communicate with the complainant and is not used for any commercial or for-profit purposes.

• Camera: To take a picture of the situation you are exposed to 
• Photo Library: To select an image that illustrates the situation you were exposed to
• Microphone: To record an audio of the situation you are exposed to.
• Location: To determine the geographical location

We work hard to protect users from unauthorized access, unauthorized modification, disclosure or destruction of the information we have.

6- Changes

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time, provided that it does not interfere with rights under the laws applicable in the State of Qatar without your express consent. Furthermore, you will be notified of any changes to the Privacy Policy on this page.
