Broadcasting Awareness Videos at “Novo" Cinemas

 Joint Cooperation between AMAN Center and Elan Group

The Protection and Social Rehabilitation Center “AMAN" which is one of the centers of the Qatar Foundation for Social Work which in turn is affiliated with the Ministry of Social Development and Family organized a celebration to honor the Chief Executive Officer of Elan Group, Mr. Jaber Abdullah Al-Ansari because of their fruitful support and contribution to broadcasting a series of awareness videos in Novo Cinemas aimed at spreading awareness and education to enhance social protection to eliminate all forms of violence and family disintegration. AMAN Center cooperated with Elan Group to broadcast several awareness videos on the protection of women and children, in addition to ways of reporting if they were exposed to any problems.

In this context, the Executive Director of AMAN Center, HE Sheikh Dr. Nasser, bin Ahmed Al Thani indicated the significance of activating social partnerships with various sectors of the State to serve the interests of work to protect our target groups as the Center's vision and mission are based on providing the protection and social rehabilitation to eliminate violence and family disintegration. Therefore, this partnership and cooperation with Elan Group contributed to raising awareness and education of the Center's target groups of women, children and victims of family disintegration resulting from violence.

Sheikh Dr. Nasser bin Ahmed al Thani also stressed the importance of diversifying the methods of raising public awareness indicating that the production of such awareness videos contributes to speeding up the delivery of the message.

For his part, the CEO of Elan Group, Mr. Jabber Abdullah Al Ansari pointed out that these initiatives as well as their social impact are significant.  He expressed their happiness at cooperating with the Protection and Social Rehabilitation Center “AMAN" by contributing to implementing the Hotline Initiative at the cinemas through broadcasting awareness videos that are directed to the Center's target groups of women, children, and victims of family disintegration resulting from violence. He appreciated the social role and responsibility performed by the Center towards our society especially, women and children. 

He added that they hoped to achieve the allocated goals, which contribute to the social development of the State of Qatar to build a strong and safe society."

 It is noteworthy that the Protection and Social Rehabilitation Center AMAN aims to spread awareness and education about enhancing the protection and rehabilitation of women and children in the State of Qatar. The Protection and Social Rehabilitation Center “AMAN" was established in 2013 with the aim of protecting and rehabilitating women and children victims of violence and family disintegration and reintegrating them into society.
