The Protection and Social Rehabilitation Center "Aman", one of the centers of the Qatar Foundation for Social Work, which is affiliated with the Ministry of Social Development and the Family, is organizing an awareness workshop entitled “How to face bullying" tomorrow, in cooperation with the Doha Girls Center of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, presented by Ms. Sharifa Al Saad, production specialist Technician in the Department of Community Awareness at Aman Center, from five to seven in the evening at the Doha Girls Center.

This workshop aims to raise awareness and educate the concept of bullying, and how to deal with victims of bullying and follow the most important ways to confront it.

In this context, Mrs. Bakhita Al Ghayathin, Acting Director of the Community Awareness Department at Aman Center, expressed the need to cooperate with youth centers, to raise awareness and educate them about such topics. Whereas, the cooperation of Aman Center with the Doha Girls Center comes to activate the principle of community partnership and the extent of our keenness to convey the vision and mission of the center in providing social protection and rehabilitation for our target groups of women and children and victims of family disintegration from violence. The workshop targets women and girls, and sheds light on some axis such as: the concept of bullying, its types, and its causes, in addition to the role of parents and the school in preventing bullying of all kinds.

It is worth mentioning that the Center for Protection and Social Rehabilitation "Aman" seeks to spread awareness and education on enhancing the protection and rehabilitation of women and children in the State of Qatar. The Protection and Social Rehabilitation Center "Aman" was established in 2013, with the aim of protecting and rehabilitating women and children's victims of violence and family disintegration and reintegrating them into society.​
