The Protection and Social Rehabilitation Center "Aman", one of the centers of the Qatar Foundation for Social Work, which is affiliated with the Ministry of Social Development and the Family, signed a cooperation protocol with the Seashore Group. The agreement was signed by Sheikh Dr. Nasser bin Ahmed Al Thani, Executive Director of Aman Center, and Mr. Saqr bin Saeed Al Mohannadi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors at the Seashore Group.

The cooperation protocol aims to strengthen cooperation between the two parties and to achieve their common objective by creating a sustainable and practical framework between them. In order to enhance the quality of services and support provided to the targeted groups of Aman Center, women and children victims of violence and family disintegration.

The Seashore Group is one of the major companies that was established in 1976 and is one of the largest economic conglomerates with multiple specializations in the fields of industry, engineering, trade, and recycling. Among the companies that keep pace with the rapid development witnessed by the State of Qatar, the Seashore Group has been socially committed to uniting the economic sector with the state to achieve the principle of sustainability, where it founded the Ataa Association, a cultural and social initiative.

According to this cooperation, this agreement will be activated between the two parties by organizing many events, activities, awareness campaigns and joint initiatives, in addition to cooperation in providing training and employment opportunities for the target groups of Aman Center, and any other tasks or activities agreed upon by the two parties and deemed necessary to achieve their common goal.

In this context, Sheikh Dr. Nasser bin Ahmed Al Thani, Executive Director of Aman Center, expressed the importance of signing cooperation protocols with several government and private agencies and sectors. The cooperation of the Aman Center with the Seashore Group will contribute to achieving benefit for both parties, through cooperation in holding many events and awareness campaigns, in addition to the keenness of the two sides to provide job opportunities for the targeted groups of the center, and focus on the process of innovation and development in the proposals for events and awareness projects that follow the field of social protection, and are related to the center's work specialization.

For his part, Mr. Saqr bin Saeed Al Mohannadi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Seashore Group, expressed the importance of activating this community partnership, through the cooperation protocol, several events and awareness campaigns will be held to serve the target groups of the Aman Center, including women, children and victims of family disintegration.

It is worth mentioning that the Center for Protection and Social Rehabilitation "Aman" seeks to spread awareness and education on enhancing the protection and rehabilitation of women and children in the State of Qatar. The Protection and Social Rehabilitation Center "Aman" was established in 2013, with the aim of protecting and rehabilitating women and children's victims of violence and family disintegration and reintegrating them into society.
