The Protection and Social Rehabilitation Center (Aman), an affiliate of the Qatar Foundation for Social Work, has entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with Afif Charity. The memorandum was officially signed by Mr. Fadhel Al-Kaabi, Acting Executive Director of Aman Center, and Ms. Zulaikha Al-Asmakh, Acting CEO of Afif Charity.

This Agreement is designed to cement the ties of collaboration between both entities and realize their mutual vision through a sustainable and operational framework. The partnership seeks to elevate the standard of services and support dedicated to Aman Center’s core beneficiaries, specifically women and children affected by violence and domestic fragmentation.

Guided by its mission as a prominent Qatari humanitarian institution since 2012, Afif Charity continues to deliver its services through a distinctive philanthropic lens. Its efforts focus on uplifting underprivileged communities and providing vital assistance across the fundamental pillars of education, health, and empowerment. Furthermore, the charity operates in strict adherence to the regulatory landscape governing humanitarian work in the State of Qatar.

Under this alliance, the Agreement will be operationalized across diverse fields of common interest tailored to each party’s expertise. This includes the joint design and execution of awareness-driven initiatives and campaigns aimed at fostering community consciousness and family cohesion. Moreover, the collaboration will facilitate the exchange of institutional knowledge through seminars, specialized training, and panel discussions. The partnership also extends to providing comprehensive social guidance and support for cases within Aman’s Care Department, governed by the established legal and administrative frameworks of both organizations.

In this context, Mr. Fadhel bin Mohammed Al-Kaabi, Acting Executive Director of the Protection and Social Rehabilitation Center (Aman), expressed that signing this Agreement with Afif Charity marks a qualitative leap toward enhancing institutional integration. He noted that such synergy is vital for serving target groups, including women, children, and victims of violence resulting from family breakdown. This partnership, he added, stems from a firm belief in the importance of collective action to unify efforts among civil society organizations, ensuring the delivery of integrated and sustainable social services focused on empowering beneficiaries.

Al-Kaabi further emphasized the necessity of activating community partnerships with sectors that represent a fundamental pillar for Aman’s target groups. Through this collaboration, comprehensive social support and guidance will be extended to cases benefiting from the center’s internal care services.

On her part, Ms. Zulaikha Al-Asmakh, Acting CEO of Afif Charity, affirmed that the charitable sector remains a vital engine for enhancing the quality of life for families and individuals alike. She explained that through its core pillars - Education, Health, and Empowerment - Afif Charity supports every entity dedicated to preserving the social fabric for the greater benefit of Qatari society.

Ms. Al-Asmakh also underlined that the alignment of both parties' goals in protecting and rehabilitating women and children forms the bedrock of this Agreement.
