The Protection and Social Rehabilitation Center "Aman", one of the centers of the Qatar Foundation for Social Work, announced the opening of submitting applications for the Women's Award, by activating the registration forms that were published through the center's accounts on social media platforms and through the link for the Women's Award: https://wpt.aman. org.qa 

 The award aims to encourage women to contribute to effective and influential societal roles, appreciate the role of distinguished women in society, push them to achieve more, and encourage institutions and companies to empower women through legislation and laws that achieve equality and justice for them, and raise the level of effective participation in the Aman Friends Club.

In this context, Ms. Hanan Al-Ali, Aman Center Director of Media and Communication Department, Hanan Al Ali expressed that this award will be one of the annual projects of Aman Center, and will be divided into four areas: the best active woman in the field of women's empowerment, the best project to serve women, the best institution that supports women's empowerment, and the best volunteer at Aman Friends Club.

Submission of application has been opened from April 1st to October 2022, provided that the winners will be announced at the end of the next December in a ceremony organized by the Center to award the prizes to the winners.

Ms. Hanan Al Ali also clarified the most important conditions that must be considered by the nominees for the award, which include completing the nomination form (electronically) and attaching all documents, sending two letters of recommendation from two different parties related to its field of activity (individuals or institutions) and conducting an interview with the jury, while those affiliated with the Qatar Foundation for Social Work or its affiliates are not entitled to run for the award.

.Ms. Hanan Al Ali stressed the importance of the award in encouraging women to play a greater role in empowering women, explaining that the award is similar to many other awards in the country that encourage creativity and innovation in all fields.

It is worth noting that the Protection and Social Rehabilitation Center "Aman" announced the launch of the Women's Award on the occasion of International Women's Day, which annually falls on March 8, as a support to empower women in all fields.
