The Protection and Social Rehabilitation Center (AMAN), one of the centers affiliated with Qatar Foundation for Social Work, has launched its 2026-2030 strategy. The launch ceremony was under the patronage and in the presence of H.E. Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi, Minister of Social Development and Family and Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Qatar Foundation for Social Work. The launch was also attended by H.E. Dr. Issa bin Saad Al Jafali Al Nuaimi, Attorney General, alongside several undersecretaries, the CEO of the Qatar Foundation for Social Work, and a number of partners and supporters. The strategy represents a new stage in the Center’s institutional evolution, marking a significant milestone in its journey and reflecting its vision to strengthen social protection, empower and safeguard women and children, and promote family stability.

In this context, Mr. Fadl Mohammed Al Kaabi, Acting Executive Director of the Protection and Social Rehabilitation Center (AMAN), emphasized the significance of this milestone, describing it as a pivotal step in the Center’s journey toward strengthening the social protection system in the State of Qatar. He noted that, through its renewed vision and mission, the strategy sets a clear roadmap for the Center, built on key outcomes that focus on an awareness-driven approach. This approach aims to address violence against women and children, while reinforcing the foundations of safe and stable families through preventive programs and community partnerships. He added that the strategy also focuses on delivering integrated, high-quality protection, rehabilitation, and empowerment services for women and children affected by violence and family disintegration, ensuring their independence and effective integration into society. It further aims to build sustainable and efficient institutional capacities that promote transparency and professionalism, while ensuring financial stability to support the Center’s vision and mission of strengthening social protection for women and children and enhancing family stability.
 

Mr. Fadl Al Kaabi also clarified that this strategy is the result of a collective effort stemming from the expertise and competencies of the AMAN Center's staff. It was developed entirely by the Center’s working teams, reflecting strong confidence in national talent and their deep understanding of beneficiaries’ needs and the challenges facing society.

The strategy is aimed at three main pillars, including enhancing the prevention of domestic violence through targeted awareness programs tailored to specific circumstances. These programs promote family cohesion and constructive dialogue, fostering a safe family and community environment supported by positive community partnerships. In addition, the strategy adopts scientific methodologies and establishes unified operational guidelines for receiving beneficiaries and initial intervention procedures. It also implements comprehensive rehabilitation programs that focus on rebuilding trust and enhancing independence, alongside the development of standardized measurement tools to assess the impact of rehabilitation programs on psychological, behavioral, and social well-being. Furthermore, the strategy seeks to strengthen institutional capacity and financial sustainability to ensure the effectiveness and quality of the Center’s services through diversifying sources and enhancing overall institutional performance.

This strategy reflects a shared vision and an integrated effort across the Center’s various departments and divisions, contributing to the development of initiatives and programs and enhancing their impact, in line with the Center’s objectives and aligned with national directions in social protection and sustainable development.

Mr. Fadl Al Kaabi also emphasized the importance of communicating the new vision of AMAN’s 2026–2030 strategy, centered on fostering a safe family environment where women and children can enjoy stability and a dignified life. The strategy’s mission is to provide a safe and inclusive environment for women and children affected by violence and family disintegration, and to deliver protection, rehabilitation, empowerment, and legal, psychological, and social support services in line with quality and transparency standards. It also seeks to strengthen community partnerships and raise public awareness to achieve a sustainable impact. He further emphasized that protection is the Center's mission, and safety is its ultimate goal.
 

It is worth noting that this strategy is underpinned by a set of core values, including social empowerment, professionalism and innovation, community partnership, transparency and accountability, as well as quality and sustainability.
