The Protection and Social Rehabilitation Center (Aman), one of the centers of the Qatar Foundation for Social Work, which is affiliated with the Ministry of Social Development and the Family, continues the implementation of the awareness campaign for the (919) hotline, located in the ground floor in the Doha Festival City Mall, at the section dedicated for the Mall Initiatives Framework, Festival Cares. This campaign is sponsored by Seashore Group as a strategic partner for implementation.

The awareness campaign, from 22 to 25 February 2023 in the Doha Festival City Mall, is concerned with the target groups of the Aman Center, including women, children and victims of family disintegration from violence.

This awareness campaign aims to spread awareness to enhance social protection and rehabilitation for reducing violence and family disintegration, by reporting any violence that may be experienced by any of the targeted groups of Aman Center, including women, children and victims of family disintegration, and to provide the necessary protection by allocating highly professional cadres to monitor initial indicators for diagnosis and to monitor statistics accurately, in addition to recording the necessary data and responding to inquiries.

In this context, Mr. Saqr bin Saeed Al Mohannadi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors at the Seashore Group, expressed their willingness to enforce the cooperation protocol with Aman Center through sponsoring and implementing the campaign for the (919) hotline. He said “we aim to contribute to spread our vision in cooperation with external stakeholders from the social prospective, and to achieve the vision of our strategic partner, Aman Center, in connection with providing social protection and rehabilitation to the target groups of the Aman Center, including women, children and victims of family disintegration to reduce violence. Aman's mission is every one's responsibility".

For her part, Mrs. Hanan Al-Ali, Director of the Communication and Media Office at Aman Center, expressed Aman Center's deepest gratitude to Seashore Group, the strategic partner for implementing the (919) hotline campaign, and the Doha Festival City Mall for their support and cooperation in setting up this awareness campaign and including it in the programs of the Festival Cares initiatives for the mall.

Mrs. Hanan Al-Ali also stressed the continuous endeavors of Aman Center to annually implement this awareness campaign based on the great turnout last year. The audience came from various segments of society, including children, women and parents, and active participation was evidenced by their visit to the induction corner and their inquiries about the services provided by the Aman Center, such as: the (919) hotline service and electronic applications for the protection of women and children like the "Help me" children application, and "Consult Me" application for women, in addition to public interaction with the Aman Center initiative called "My Book is My Friend", which is a device for selling books for children. It also informs them of the dangers of playing electronic games.

Social protection is a joint responsibility assumed by all governmental and private sectors, since our common goal is protect the individuals from any violence that may be experienced and strengthen family cohesion in order to create a safe environment.

It is worth noting that the Social Protection and Rehabilitation Center (AMAN) is concerned with the protection and rehabilitation of women and children who are victims of violence and family disintegration and their reintegration into society.

The 919 hotline service is an advanced service for receiving social protection requests and providing social, legal and psychological advisory services. It operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and in several languages, including: French, Hindi, Urdu, Philippines, and Nepali, in addition to the Arabic and English languages, to cover the various nationalities in the country.
